On April 27, 2011 Ringgold, Georgia was left in devastation from a EF-4 tornado. As much as I wanted to go take photographs then, I waited. Being so close to the action of the tornado was shocking for everyone in our household as well. Less than 10 miles down the road from our house an entire neighborhood was ripped apart. However Ringgold is where the most devastation occurred.
Almost 4 months later after the tornado it is still so apparent of all the damage. On August 10, I went into Ringgold as I had a couple times since the tornado but this time to document the still recovering and devastation from the tornado. This pictures really do not do justice to just how upsetting the damage still is after these months. Ringgold is rebuilding but it will be a long process.
